Italian fans of classic comics will soon be able to rediscover Ives/Morgan, a splendid series scripted by the  great Antonio Segura and drawn by the no less great José Ortiz. It premiered in # 5 of Metropol magazine dedicated to the noir genre in 1983. The series consisted of 24 episodes, 4 published in the aforementioned Metropol and when it died the rest in Cimoc, with a change of name to avoid rights problems. 

The main character, Ives Pollock, is a vengeful policeman with serious health problems whose life is turned upside down by a crime in the first episode of the series. Later, for several episodes, he enters prison to finally become a fugitive from the law.

Ives/Morgan is an extraordinarily entertaining series, full of spectacular pages and very interesting stories. It belongs to the high point of the collaboration between the two great masters of Spanish comics Segura and Ortiz. It will now be published by Editoriale Cosmo in two volumes in Italy during 1st quarter 2024 as part of their collection I Grandi Maestri.
