The legend of Hakutaku

    The Legend of Hakutaku is a fantasy adventure manga inspired by Japanese legends. It delves into stories of demons, beasts and fantastic creatures that foretell misfortune and catastrophe. 

    Yuki is a deaf girl who dreams of becoming the next leader of her village but she fears she will never get the chance due to her hearing impairment which complicates her relationships with the other villagers. After a fight with Dai, her best friend, she finds herself in the forest and encounters the Hakutaku, the demon that everyone believes destroyed the village years ago...  Misfortune is once again looming over the village. Will Yuki be able to save it?
