Lea: the secret club rules

Lea is 12. This year she is starting high school, but she still doesn't own a cell phone and what's worse, all her friends have had their first period but her. How unfair! Will she be able to detect the first symptoms? What will she feel when she gets it? And what does it mean to be cyclical? Adolescence is so complicated! Luckily she has a secret diary and also dear friends and best way to get through a year with many changes: a new boy in class, misunderstandings with her friends, a girl classmate who makes her school life hell, an insufferable principal... and an exciting club project.

Through Lea's eyes we will learn about the experiences and adventures of a group of teenagers with one goal: to set up a menstrual club where they will learn and explain what menstruation is, while addressing typical teenage issues such as first love, fights between friends, the mean girl at school, a.s.o ... A comic divided into four phases with explicative inserts that delve into the menstrual cycle with plenty of advices and documentation offered by Paloma Alma, a menstrual health expert and founder of the projects Cyclo and Menstruall, that aim to help women live their menstruation in a positive way. 

A story with a curious and determined protagonist and her group of friends, intended to help young girls understand what happens when they are 12 and eager to learn everything about menstruation.
